More baby animals is just the thing Sledd Nursery needs. Mom brought two kittens from the ranch today. We already have three bunnies. Yikes.
Tonight was the big fancy Umlauf Sculpture Garden party. I can safely say Brad Loves house warming cocktail party in the Brown Building was WAY more fun!!! Sam Gosling was wearing a great shirt. I’ll have to remember to send him a compliment via email.

Today was a learning experience. I phtoographed the band Okkervil River for their new press photos. Things did not go quite as planned. The band was late to get things started on the wrong foot. I guess I should know that when working with musicians timely-ness is rare. Alas.
We did the shoot in a field across the street from the lead singers house. The extreme amounts of pollen in the air caused two of the band members to have allergy attacks - puffy eyes do not look good in photos. As if that was not enough the wind was BLOWING and my lights fell over - twice. This was also my first foray into processing RAW and it took FOVEVER. Thanks to Matt and Melissa for all your help with this shoot.
Did I mention the sunburn? As if alergies, tardiness and the wind was not enough. Ugg. Things can only get better.
