Venue :: Hyatt Lost Pines
Flowers :: Mariposa Photographer :: Sledd Weddings This was my first wedding to photograph at the new Hyatt Lost Pines resort. The venue was much more difficult to work at that I’d expected. The getting ready area was very far from the ceremony which was acres away from the reception. I’m so used to being able to wonder freely between all of the spaces and the great distances left me feeling like I didn’t get to spend enough time anywhere. It was also a huge bummer that the weather did not cooperate. The ceremony – which was going to overlook the lake – go relocated to an indoor space. At least the reception was still outside in a covered pavilion. For my next wedding at Hyatt I’m going to rent a golf cart.
