I’ve been photographing the Austonian project since the ground breaking so this party was a wonderful time to celebrate with the friends I’ve made working on this project. The party spanned 4 floors - the lobby and floors 54,55, and 56. Each floor had a unique theme. This was a VERY well put together event and guests were wowed by attention to details. It was fun to watch people interacting with the spaces and moving between the different floors. I’d like to thank Johanna, Cile and Eric for making these photos possible.

2010 is going to be a great year! Had fun last night at the High Ball. Looking forward to a new decade of having fun with awesome husband, rocking the photo world and Doing Stuff.
Had a lovely time photographing Dulce Vida tequila yesterday at a very cool warehouse district bar - Peche. Peche is a french styled Absinthe bar with lush styling and a long list of signature cocktails. The rock star bar tender (OMG forgot his name!) did a great job whipping up drinks for us. I must confess - photographing glass outside of the studio is tricky!

Oh! Fun. One of my weddings is featured in this months issue of Tribeza. This was such a great wedding I’m happy to see it in print! Amy is the editor one of my favorite websites www.austintidbits.com and a total rockstar otherwise!

The High Ball is the new Bowling Alley/Karioke Bar next to the Alamo South Lamar. The place is finally (almost) done! It looks amazing! The vintage bowling lanes are from the Rock N Bowl in New Orleans. There is a great story about the High Ball in the Chronicle by Marc Savlov. The party last night was to celebrate the Kick Off of Fantastic Fest and the Director of Gentlemen Broncos Jared Hess was on hand for the celebrations. My photos of Hess are only medium good because he was surrounded by drooling fans and my pappartzi elbows were off duty. Co-founder (I think) of the festival Harry Knowles from Aint it Cool News was also at the party looking sharp and having fun. There are many more photos from the party on HERE on flickr.
