Metropolis : Seaholm Power Plant

This was my first trip inside Seaholm Power Plant and I was not disappointed! The place is amazing inside. Thanks to my “official” photographer status I got to wander around the upstairs. It is really neat and more than a little dangerous up there.

The Golden Hornet Project did an amazing job playing along to the silent film Metropolis. Wish I’d had more time to do portraits of Graham Reynolds and Peter Stopschinski. They are both just so photogenic and REALLY good sports.

Oh… and bonus surprise my old friend David Quinn was working as a prole. David holds a special place in my heart because the first time I kissed my husband was at one of his famous parties in the big white house on Pennsylvania Avenue. We’d been on at least three dates before we kissed – for the record.

Rolling Road Show – New Jersey

A few photos from the Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow in Hoboken NJ. They played On The Water Front on an amazing old pier. The weather was beautiful! I was a little disappointed I didn’t see my hero Snookie, but life goes on.

For the record getting the exposure correct for both the city and the screen is REALLY hard!!!

The Alamo Draft House (my favorite theater ever) asked me to photograph Christopher Lloyd this weekend. Lloyd was in town to talk at the Back to the Future Feast the theater had. Fun times!

I’ve been photographing the Austonian project since the ground breaking so this party was a wonderful time to celebrate with the friends I’ve made working on this project. The party spanned 4 floors – the lobby and floors 54,55, and 56. Each floor had a unique theme. This was a VERY well put together event and guests were wowed by attention to details. It was fun to watch people interacting with the spaces and moving between the different floors. I’d like to thank Johanna, Cile and Eric for making these photos possible.
