It is almost that time of year again. SXSW is here. I’m currently giving bids for parties/showcase coverage. If you have something and you need AWESOME photos just let me know. I already have credentials. I have a number of bookings during the Film/Interactive portions of the festival, but I have a lot of availability during Music. ACL Photo Review

ACL has come and gone again. The weather was to die for and the grass did a great job of keeping the dust at bay. This year I took it pretty easy and only photographed on Friday and Saturday. My favorite show to watch was MUSE, but I also really enjoyed seeing Vampire Weekend and The XX .

Lollapalooza : Day 1

I’m so tired! Festival photography is so much harder than I remember. Guess I”m getting old. These are a few of my favorites. Sorry if the color is wonky I”m using my laptop and have no idea how to calibrate it. Yea for doing my own projects! More personal work to come soon.

Holy cow! It is me with super model Susan Holmes! Someday I’ll be taller and wear more flannel. Just like you Ms. Holmes.

SWEET new tattoo on one of my new Do312.com friends. Can’t remember his name… feel like a jerk.

Almost got hit in the face with a frisbee for this one. Good thing I was wearing shades to protect my eyes. Festival photography is dangerous work.

Love this one of Sean and Keaton O’neal. They are Austin folks. Sean works for that paper the Onion. It isn’t quite as totally rad as the best Austin website for what to do Do512, but I forgive him.

SXSW Day Party : The Big One

My favorite SXSW party is coming soon! This year the Do512 party will be downtown, not at the compound. We have 13000+ RSVPs so be sure to get on the list and arrive early. I’ll be photographing a wedding that afternoon so DO NOT CALL ME to get into the party. I won’t be able to help you.

Anthens vs Sparta

I had the pleasure of photographing Anthens vs Sparta for the cover the San Antonio Current. These guys music is VERY interesting and well worth a listen
