Sewing Class : Stitch Lab

I’ve always thought sewing would be fun so I signed up for a class at Stitch Lab. The class was great! My sewing skills not so much. We made a bag, a pillow case and a skirt. I didn’t realize how bad my vision is until I tried to thread a needle. Yowzers.

Destination Wedding : Marfa

Having fun in Marfa at the Thunderbird Motel! In the past I’ve always stayed at the Riata just out side of town. I decided to splurge and stay with the cool kids. I have to admit – the room was VERY loud and not as comfy as ye ole Riata. Alas. Being cool requires sacrifice. Next time I think we’ll stay at El Cosmico in the TeePee.

SXSW Day Party : The Big One

My favorite SXSW party is coming soon! This year the Do512 party will be downtown, not at the compound. We have 13000+ RSVPs so be sure to get on the list and arrive early. I’ll be photographing a wedding that afternoon so DO NOT CALL ME to get into the party. I won’t be able to help you.

Destination Wedding : Miami

We are in Miami for a destination wedding. The weather is AMAZING and we’ve had lots of yummy Cuban Food. Not to mention the SHOPPING! Our hotel is sort of … creepy… but it is cheap and more or less clean. After we shoot this wedding I’m off to Vegas for WPPI the big photo convention. Too much travel.
