Hannah and Scott got married on the one year anniversry of when Scott and I got engaged. This has to be my favorite backyard wedding this year. Hannah and family could not have been any nicer. The amount of hospitality we recieved was far and away more than we could have ever expected. I’m thankful we didn’t get rained out!

Wow! These two were so fun and OMG so in love. This has been one of my favorite weddings to photograph this year. I really like working at private estates and the energy was awesome. Also, does not hurt that Amy and Aubrey are both VERY good looking. BTW random aside… the little girls are holding one of the umbrellas I use for my strobes. I wanted to take a photo, but the lighting wasn’t quite right so I put them to work. Turns out they weren’t tall enough to block the light in question, but they are really cute. For those tech nerds that read my blog this was my first wedding working with the LitePanels Micro light – which I love. Wedding :: Dana + Kevin

I love photographing backyard weddings! This wedding was at a private estate in Lago Vista. They always prove to be so intimate. Dana and Kevin had a wonderful wedding day. It was threatening to rain, but the weather held. Dana’s dad made YUMMY bbq and Kevin’s mom arranged the flowers. I also photographed the after party at the Driskill, but you’ll have to talk Dana into showing you those photos.

Fun! It is a photo of everyone at the wedding. I’ve been trying to get everyone in the picture at all of my small weddings. It seems to work pretty well if you can find a bench and have less than 100 people.
