I’m a big fan of photographing weddings at Umlauf! This wedding was no exception. G’Nell and Brandon are so clearly in love and their wedding was a joy to photograph. Every detail was carefully taken conceived and the day came together beautifully! I must say I’m enjoying the pie trend I’ve seen at a few weddings. I can say, from personal experience, the cherry pie was YUMMY!

Best wedding ever! I love getting to photograph friends weddings. Annelies and I went to high school together and I met Ben (before Annelies did) when I was in college. I cannot imagine a better match. Seeing two people so in love makes me really happy! This wedding could not have been more perfect. The weather was gorgeous! Guests were happy. The veggie inspired bouts and bouquets were adorable! Random aside – my photo of the bouquet is going to be featured in next months Edible Austin magazine. Fun!

This wedding had two interesting firsts for me – 1. First wedding at the UT Alumni Center 2. First wedding with cake decoration by the mother of the groom. Oh, what a cake it was! Rumor has it she made the decorations at her home in Florida and them brought them with her on the plane. Wonder what FSA had to say about that. The decorations were mostly sugar (and styraphone) and were not edible… although the bride and grooms dog did eat one the day before the wedding and survived. What will I see next?

Wow! This was an amazing wedding. We had such a fun time taking pictures. The weather (thankfully) was perfect. The flowers were lovely. Julie’s dress was gorgeous. The music was great. Oh… and Julie and Chad are the smile-est people I’ve ever met. They could not have looked any happier on their wedding day. My only tiny compliant was doing portraits was a little tricky because they have sort of a (big) height difference. Thanks you two! Entertainment : White Ghost Shivers

Umm… to say this wedding was fun would be a serious understatement. Leshia and Kevin are really nice and very generous and know how to throw a great party. I was a little worried about the wind, but it calmed down just long enough for them to tie the knot. The peacocks at Green Pastures even got involved and hooted right after the kiss. It was sort of surreal. After dinner the White Ghost Shivers played lots of great of tunes and everyone danced. There was a photobooth and fun instant prints for guests to take home. I really loved the blue shoes that Leshia wore with her dress (seen below). Thanks you two for making my job so easy! I hope you have a long and happy life together.
