Last Friday I photographed Stacey and Brent’s wedding. This wedding was a complete joy.  Everything went off with out a hitch. The weather could not have been more perfect! The couple was cute as a button. The purple bridesmaids dresses photographed beautifully. I also really liked that the bride sewed a bit of lace from her grandmothers wedding to her bouquet. The peacock feather placecards were elegant!  Oh… and there were (identical?) twin 1.5 year olds in tuxes. This was the first time I’ve seen Green Pastures do an Icecream bar. They did a great job with it.I mean… does it get any better? Big thanks to Tanya who pulled things off with out a hitch – as usual! This wedding was definitely one of a kind!! The Church was built, lovingly, by the father of the bride. It looks out over a wild game farm and the Hill Country. Everything was perfect for this wedding – except for the weather. We were all very worried about the impending rain. The decision to have the Ceremony inside was made at 3pm and the decision to move it back outside was made at 5:45 (only 15 minutes before the start of the Ceremony). We all cheered at the news! The rain stayed away just long enough for the Ceremony and as Bethany and Jay walked back down the aisle the skies let loose with big rain drops. We all cheered again.

The reception was held in the families “barn” and entertainment was provided by the fabulous WC Clarke. The guests danced late into the night and a good time was had by all!

Rarely do I see such a happy group of people at a wedding. Guests danced late into the night enjoying yummy Tex-Mex and enjoying Ritas. This was my first wedding at the MACC. Talk about an amazing venue! In addition to being very large and conveniently located it is also a great deal. Thank you Linda and Thomas! I REALLY enjoyed your wedding.
